How did I become a medium, and how does it work, is the most common question that I get asked from the people I meet?

I wondered in to the world of mediumship at the age of 11, this was then I met my first medium, and again when I was 16, when my nan died. I had finished my GCSEs, left school and was trying to make sense of this new changed world. My Mum wanted to go to a local spiritualist meeting and I was worried for her sanity, so I went along to look after her and make sure nothing weird happened. I had no expectation and was convinced that it would be a waste of time…… How wrong was I.
